As you know, there are many types of connectors. The most commonly used connectors play an important role in various electronics industries. But do you know what it's used for?


The connector is called connector, plug or socket in our country. It is a component used to connect two active devices. As an indispensable component in electronic equipment, connector is an electronic product that connects two active devices. It can transmit electricity or signals. Connectors are playing an increasingly important role in today's electronic products with diversified functions and modular designs.


Connectors are used in many places in our daily lives, such as LCD headsets, computer wiring, battery wiring, and most household appliances. In addition, connectors are widely used in aerospace, defense and military systems. The connector may seem simple, but it provides a bridge between the power source and the electronics, allowing the current to flow properly. So you say it's important enough? The most indispensable part of electronic equipment is the connector. Typically, multiple connectors are installed in electronic devices. The basic properties of connectors can be roughly divided into three types, namely, mechanical properties, electrical properties and environmental properties.



1: Mechanical properties of connecting rod: as long as it is expressed by inserting force, it can be subdivided into inserting force and pulling force. The insertion force should be as light as possible to facilitate the use of users, and the drawing force should be designed to be larger, because the separation force is too small, easy to affect the actual function of the connector.


2: Electrical performance: including insulation resistance, electrical strength and contact resistance.


3: Environmental protection performance: reflected in the connector working heat resistance, moisture resistance, vibration resistance, impact resistance and other aspects.


We can't imagine how hard they work when there are no connectors. If the electronic equipment is to be connected with the battery, the wire must be fixed between the two through welding, and often have to remove the solder joint, replace the battery, and then welding, the cost is too high. Once you have a connector, if you want to replace the battery, you can simply disconnect the connector and reconnect it after replacement, which is both simple and economical.
