Board - to - board connection problems and troubleshooting

The correct connection of board to board connector products can improve the service life of products and ensure the good operation of mechanical equipment. 1) About the connection of board to board connectors

A board-to-board plug socket is used to electrically connect two separate circuit boards, including a first connector connecting with the circuit board and a conversion connector connecting with the first connector in series, wherein the first connector has a first terminal connecting with the circuit board and a body accommodating the first terminal. The conversion connector is provided with a second terminal and a body accommodating the second terminal. The two extension ends of the second terminal can be respectively inserted and matched with the first terminal to achieve electrical conduction with the first connector arranged on the two circuit boards, wherein one end of the first terminal and the second terminal is provided with a reverse bending elastic part. The proper extension length of the body and the second terminal can be selected according to the spacing of the circuit board setting standard.

2) Troubleshooting of board-to-board connectors

Once the product fails, it can be determined that the cause is the breakage of the wire in use, the loosening of the product and so on. The frequency of wire breakage in the middle is not much, most of them are broken at the connector, so the inspection focus should be placed on the sensor and the connection of the wire, to see whether they have loose and poor contact and other problems. Generally, the circuit breaker caused by poor contact is mostly due to corrosion at the end of the product and external dirt into the terminal or connecting socket, which leads to the reduction of contact pressure. To deal with this failure, you need to remove the connector, then plug it back in, change its connection status, and return it to normal contact.
