Board to board connector, the basic concept of which refers to the connection of different circuit boards together, is currently all connector product types with the strongest transmission capacity of the connector product. It is mainly used in power system, communication network, financial manufacturing, elevator, industrial automation, medical equipment, office equipment, home appliances, military manufacturing and other industries.
Principles of board-to-board connectors
The board to board connector comprises two male and female homogenous connectors with the same structure, each male and female homogenous connector has an insulating body, the insulating body has a male body part and a mother part.
The male body part is provided with a plurality of male terminal slots, and the male terminal slots are respectively provided with a male terminal. The mother part is provided with a receiving cavity and a plurality of female terminal slots communicated with the receiving cavity, wherein a female terminal is respectively provided with a female terminal. A plurality of buckle slots are provided on the insulation body, and the buckle slots are provided with a buckle.
The board-to-board connector provides a holding force through a number of clasps on the two male and female connectors to maintain a solid and reliable electrical connection between the male and female terminals.
Board to board connector connection method: First, wrap the solder wire around the support rod whose diameter is equivalent to the long pin of the board to board connector, and then cut the solder wire on the support. After the cutting of one side of the solder wire is completed. The solder ring with two side openings is seen, and the solder ring is flattened. One or more of the flattened solder rings are placed on the bottom of the long pin of the connector, and then placed flat on the connector to blow hot air, heat the solder ring, the hot air will melt the solder ring and make it between the PCB board and the long pin of the connector. After the solder ring is completely melted, stop the hot air blowing into the ring and wait for it to cool naturally. After solidification, connect the long lead pin of the connector with the PCB board for wiring.
